CHAZ WORRALL
DOG TRAINING & BEHAVIOUR CENTRE

No doubt many of you will be aware of the opening of our new Training and Behaviour Centr
e at Whisby Garden Centre, just off the A46 Lincoln By-pass.

The Centre building is opposite the entrance to the main Garden Centre Building, thus providing us with a prime and very high profile position. We have the advantage also of the Garden Centre parking facilities, so popping in to see us could not be easier.

For many years now we have carried out our Lincoln group dog training classes and Agility classes at Whisby Garden Centre, and will continue to do so. We have recently added a new group training class on a Wednesday morning, and our intention is to increase our activities and services with the new centre as a focal point for those. One of the future developments, with which we feel will be welcome is that of seminars and workshops, covering a variety of topics from puppy parties to hydrotherapy and many more!

In the future we are looking at erecting some kennelling facilities, these will not be boarding kennels, but more holding kennels for dogs in training, but will also provide some day care facilities and short term kennelling for anyone who may need their dog looking after for short periods of time during the day.

As well as all the regular training services and behavioural consultations that we offer, we intend to run a pet bereavement support service from the centre, this is something we feel is needed for as most of us know, loosing a dog is akin to loosing a beloved family member. Kim will be running this service and is ideally suited to do so, having many years of experience as a nurse in veterinary practice to draw upon as well as personal experience. Kim is also due to start a bereavement support course on the 1st of June 2010.

We have many more ideas for the future and will keep you informed as they transpire.  Please do pop in and see us. The Centre is a great place for socialising. With tables and chairs to relax at, both inside and out, of course dogs on leads are welcome.  We have hot & cold drinks available and of course all the Garden Centre facilities are available to you should you wish.

Hope to see you soon, best wishes,
Chaz
